I've taken the oldest in the neighborhood without a sidecar, but probably won't with the rest of them. For one thing, their Dad says never, and to be honest, I don't feel comfortable having a rider anymore, too many body parts can fail at my age. Dirt and gravel farm roads with a sidecar may be all they get to do with me. My daughter has only ridden with her kids using one of my sidecars, too, and last year she didn't ride anything. 30 to 50 lb kid versus 500 to 1200 lb bikes, my age, traffic... something to think about. Kids love it, but they don't understand strokes, heart attacks, blown arteries, the things that can happen to old bodies. Wasn't that long ago I would have been wiling to take the older boy anywhere in the country on two wheels. Well, maybe not Boston, worst traffic I ever drove in.

 

I better call it a day, too, getting the covid shot in the morning.

Moldy, I told all the grandkids that as soon as they could sit on the rear seat and put their feet on the pegs, I'd take them for a ride. So far none have wanted to ride. They don't seem to be interested now they can, or could, ride. Oh well....
Nice today....low-mid 30's now, but low 60's today. Nice Nice Nice!!!! Couple more weeks and bike comes out.... need couple of good rains to wash roads.
