I guess if you’ve used the rack before on your other bikes, definitely.
If you haven’t used it at all, then why mount it.

It was a surprise for me when they called me. Round #2 today is supposed to be the one that makes you feel like dirt the day after.

I have another jackshaft garage door opener to install in the annex today after I get back and waiting for engineers to get back to me on the project for this weekend in Panama.

Here we go - the art of internal compromise (internal to me). I can leave it off and install for WS'21 for utility. I can remove after the trip and install (4) small black screws / covers for running around.
I wonder if the black HD rack would look better ?
One thing we know, One must have respect for the TOAK, in it's ability to thoroughly analyze and critique not only pancake shape and mixes, but firearms and fake tour packs as well ! Well done Gentlemen.

Stan, more than anything, I would consider the cover’s ability to resist flex or deformation with a few pounds strapped to it. If there was the potential, I would either:
  • Not install the rack
  • Consider reinforcing the lid with an internal doubler if it looks like it would flex. You may have to roll it to get a good fit as your lid is probably not flat.

Best damn ladder I ever bought. We know this ladder would receive the TOAK seal of approval.

Not sure about the "gay" part but I'm rather "joyous" about the warmer weather up here.

Re-Morning, Woods....I may have mentioned it before....I HATE THOSE TOUR PACKS! I know its great for those who have a passenger which I never have but they're still ugly...There I said it.
Stan, does your wife ride with you? Maybe consider a solo mount? Here's a pic of how it looks the first time I mounted it. Afterward, I changed the backrest and armrests out for a backrest like you have.
Chris, sorry it came out in B/W

I'll need to strap my spare M8 motor elsewhere I'm afraid. LOL
Seriously - good point Russ.

No solo, a good backrest is my best bet at getting Tammy to ride, plus - I like to stuff a travel bag in that cavity when traveling. I miss that Ultra you had Al, especially that color.
