I wanna 9mm!!! I currently carry a Ruger LCP 380. I like it because it's nice, small, compact. But finding ammo is difficult these days. And expensive. I have found 9mm cheaper than 380. BUT.... I understand what's going on today.... everything is hard to find. I have "put the word out" to some of my shooting buddies I'm looking. Nothing yet, but.... I would like a Shield, but any other recommendations?

I carry 9mm anymore.
All of those are great. I would add the FN 509 and the CZ P01 or the P7 to that list. The P01 is a medium frame so a bit bulkier, but it shoots like a dream and holds a lot of ammo. I don't carry mine very often because the Shield and the Hellcat are so easy. The only gun I would stay away from is any of the 911 (small 1911) variants like the Mustang etc. I know some are better than others but I didn't have any luck with a Springfield 911 in .380. Ended up trading it in on the Hellcat. Factory swap. I came out well ahead on that deal.
There are some steal on that Wilson Leather site, thanks for the heads up. I just got a nice jacket for $130. Edit: Just got one for Ms Tonebender too. Hard to pass up a great deal like that.
we ended up at the outlet stores......good prices on dead cow skin...
For some reason, any Glock I've ever handled never felt comfortable in my hand. It's like the angle of the grip wasn't right or it was too much of a stretch to get a comfortable pull on the trigger.
That's the reason I don't own one.
Haven't had the opportunity to shoot a Hellcat yet.

That's a common complaint for Glock. I've owned them and just considered them a crude but reliable tool. Personally I feel one can do better.
The Hellcat is snappy. With range ammo it gets tiresome to shoot after 100 rounds. But it is accurate. And it converted me to the red dot camp. Now that I'm used to the red dot, I can barely see with iron sights.
