Thanks Al. You know how long this kind of stuff takes. And how much. Restoration is hard on the wallet!

Yep - this was a no budget project. I started by getting a great deal on the bike. Then it was a simple matter of sealing up some oil leaks........but once I got working on it I thought "Hmmmmm, that frame could use some freshening up". So the whole bike came apart and off the frame went to the powder coater. Then off the tins went to the painter. Then off a bunch of parts went to the vapor blaster. Then off a bunch of parts went to the powder coater. Then the boxes of reproduction parts started rolling in. Then I found a whole barn find bike I could use for parts if necessary.

In the end I could have just bought a pristine bike and had money left over. But this will be, for all intents and purposes, a new old bike. Everything has been done except for a bottom end, but it didn't need it at all.

Canada is loaded full of hotties. Not sure what that's about but I always enjoy my visits.

Haha....I know that feeling but that's what keeps me young! I've decided that there will be no ' bust my ***"projects this summer. I have to learn to relax. Hopefully, I'll have the new pup and training him will be my project.

Sir Marcus does have a ring to it.
Gotta bail for a bit.
