TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Got the van in the grudge. 4 Harleys, one with a sidecar, and a Ural sidecar rig makes for a tight fit. Also two chest freezers, two toolboxes on wheels, a workbench, hydraulic press, and of course a snowblower. I put the tire changer in the basement for now. All in a 22x24 garage. I wanna 40x60 polebarn... Van windows were iced over, how does that happen when they were clear yesturday and the high since then is now, 10 degrees.
Ought to be fun when I get home. Kristi’s friend from Portland, and her Mormon sister are spending a few days at house #3. I looked at the cameras and the sister appears to be pretty hot and certainly doesn’t dress like a chaste woman. Probably a good thing I’m going to Mexico tomorrow so I stay out of trouble. Louie’s to follow.
Al, only thing I've seen free at the local dealer is coffee. They did have 30 cent canned pop, but a couple years ago switched to buck & a quarter bottles, so grandson and I quit going there for drinks. Used to browse their consignment parts and actually bought some of those, but they stopped that, too. The tables with clearance items are gone, no more $15 gloves. Only go there now if I need a part I can't get aftermarket, or bolts; surprisingly, they're about cheapest around for Harley hardware, and claim it ain't Chinese, like it is about everywhere else locally. I'm not very interested in the bikes, the new looks don't appeal to me like the older ones.
