Hey, Russ...have a new Glock 43X on order . I like having at least one pistol on every floor in the house and realized that I don't one in Garoffice. Talked to #2 son and he recommended that one. Hard to get around here but he's buddies with a guy that owns a gun shop. Guy said he might have one coming in next week so my son can have it.

Round and round with Verizon again this month. My cell phone bill was suppose to be $65 but was $90. I called last month and told them I was leaving if they could not be competitive and quit increasing my bill. They agreed but it did not happen. After today's conversation with India I got a credit for the difference another agreement that my bill will be no more than $65. I think I am headed to Straight Talk. My wife using them, same towers and it's $45 a month. For $65 I can get more data and a hotspot for travel with Straight Talk. Gotta love Walmart for some things. I asked the Verizon agent why would I pay twice as much for the same thing and she had no answer. Put me on hold and came back with a lower bill. It's like negotiating for a sweater on the streets of Greece in 1978. Why can't they just have a fair price? Their business model along with all the cable companies is to offer great deals for new customers and stick it to the loyal customers. Geesh. Rant over.

Al, the Scout motto of “Be Prepared” is not lost on you. Never been a fan of Glocks though, I enjoy a good looking gun and that is not a Glock.

I tried a Glock. Didn't feel natural in my hands. The XD hit the spot. Looking forward to shooting the new Hellcat someday.

I'm not a Glock fan boy, but having used it in the line of duty to protect myself, I would trust my life to them again without question.

I like my 1911's. The S&W MP 9mil feels good too. Never shot a Glock, just know they look like ***

Jeez, John, I wish you had told me that a long time ago....I would have mentioned it sooner...

Russ, I don't pay much attention to guns anymore. I was HEAVILY into them back in the 80's, still have some in the boxes. They were all sporting guns. I wouldn't think twice about spending $800 - $1000 back then. Got away from it. My boys are going to make out like bandits when I go. Have 3 or 4 Glocks and a Kimber. I just call #2 son up and say " I need another gun for....." and he recommends one. Haven't even shot a couple of them yet
