Some fancy noodles and cheese with ground beef and topped off with tomatoes and onions. Drizzled some BBQ on that. It actually turned out really good.

I don't cook much but I'm trying.

Great day today. Rode to the chiropractor, almost felt good before I got there. Talked with my Indy on the way home. All my Hot Rod friends weren't interested in the 383, so rethinking the impala and what to do with the 454

There ya go! Unload the 383 and get that thing running.

And of course, always good to get a ride in.

Grocery run today, wow was there a lot of salt on the roads, looks like they did a grand finale for that couple inches we got Sunday. Be nice to get some of that rain some of you are looking forward to.

Carol's husband (think he died in '96) collected stamps. I don't know anything about them, but she mentioned them to a lady friend who knew a collector. From there it progressed to an auction, and seems her husband knew what he was doing. Husband's surviving sister had a recent oh **** with the house, and wondered how she'd pay for it. Carol, being a very kind and generous person, let her husband do a final kindness for his sister, house will be repaired. The country could use a lot more people like Carol.

Al, if you posted the results for the Kodiac pancakes, I missed it. Worth a little extra compared to the Krusty stuff?

I'm thinking 383, 700r4, and 3.73s. Put the 454 in a late 50s truck

I never had a 383 or a 454, but I've had a 440 Coronet RT, 396 Caprice, 455 Pontiac Grandville, 400 Firebird. The 440 could run circles around the others, but it wasn't pulling near as much weight as the big Chevy and Pontiac. Strangely enough, it got the best gas mileage, not that it was anything to brag about. The Grandville got 11 mpg in town, and 11 mpg on the highway, weird. Convertible, too, gawdawful heavy, weighed more than my '86 Town Car.

454 in a light weight pickup, that would be fun to drive.
