Last Uncle on my Dad's side survived covid, barely, but something got him yesterday. Health had been failing bad the past month, probably never got back to where he was before covid. Makes me the oldest male on Dad's side, just have one female cousin a couple years older. This uncle was the youngest of 6 siblings in Dad's family, remember him holding me in front of him and letting me steer a tractor while Dad was in Korea. Big thrill for a 4 or 5 year old. Wonder if that's why I've always liked tractors. He was a farmer all his life, did nearly all the work on his equipment himself, he and Lou could have had a good conversation about that.
Just looked at every 10th page tonight, and the last 5. Missed the Packard photos. Been very tired today, but at least I got some stuff done this morning. Turned down a most excellent restaurant meal with Daughter and family tonight, just didn't feel up to it.
Getting my truck money back around the end of the month, loaned it back in December. Time to start looking seriously for another pickup. Maybe a highway Honda, too, all the Harleys are gonna be down by the end of this month, but it shouldn't take much to put the sportsters back on the road. The Honda sidecar rig needs a new front tire that I got last year and haven't mounted yet, figure that will the most reliable bike I have. Famous last words... Should sell 5 bikes and get something super reliable, like a late model goldwing. They're so hard to work on I've leave it alone. Keep fiddling on the Harleys and next thing I know they're in pieces.

If we're looking at the same right view, probably my choice, too. Would like to see that photo with them facing the flags. That can change a choice...

You’d hate working on that thing. I had a stoplight conversation with a guy yesterday who was on his Wing and he said it takes two hours to remove stuff just to access the area you want to work on.

Thanks Russ.
That's why I said I'd leave it (a Wing) alone. I did a little work on one a few years ago for a friend, and that thing was a mechanical misery. You'd think if they had to put so much plastic on it, they'd at least try to make it easy to pull and put back on. My Honda scooter with the sidecar is almost as bad. At least on a Harley you don't have to search the internet to find out where the aircleaner is.
