I'm not sure. It happened last week. The owner of the truck shop wants to rebuild them BUT they're a Cummins shop, not a Rolls Royce shop. Could get expensive buying new tools and programming.

All of the above. Actually, mismanaged power grid is the culprit. It’s not like we don’t test that damn thing every summer with triple digit heat and everyone blowing cold air out their ACs.
I spoke to my BIL this morning who came over to get water, he works in nuclear power generation, we lost wind generated power when the storm hit. We lost natural gas fed generation when they could not control the valves because they were frozen. We are down something to the tune of 34,000 megawatts of generation capability. All 4 nuclear generation facilities are operating at Max performance but that is not without problems either as the valves which allow cooling water in or out aren’t designed to operate at these temperatures either.
There is a branch of our Public Utilities Commission that is supposed to take care of this but it seems they haven’t actually done very much. I bet some of them get replaced.

Evening woods,
Snowing here again. Cold AF with some wind.
Grandkids are here and we are working on some vittles.

My son did a reassessment of the horse and believes he died of natural causes and fell into the fence line. It doesn't appear he became entangled in the fence as we originally thought. He was 20+ years old.
