Always liked horses, sad to hear of one going that way.
And now the wonderful, fantastic news, it got above zero today!
Never even heard of mini doorguns while I was there, but decades later found out our gunships got them around a year after I left. Gawd, what a rush firing one of those would be, I would have loved it. . . . . Ever swap places with one of your gunners when no one was looking? Never heard of it happening with one of our gunship crews, but it did with more than one slick on a single ship flight. Only time some of our pilots got to fire a shot there. At trees...
Memories...
Almost fun when firing, though, was intense excitement. Must have been a mental orgasm firing a six barrel, all I ever got to use was a measly single barrel M60. And an M16 a couple times when the M60 broke. That wasn't very exciting, only getting to fire 20 rounds, seldom had time to reload before whatever was over. It was the 'when **** happens' when no guns were involved that caused me mild concern a couple times...
Oh oh, lookit the time, time to get dressed (in something warmer), gonna go say hi to the new kid and have dinner at Audrey's house.

I spoke to my BIL this morning who came over to get water, he works in nuclear power generation, we lost wind generated power when the storm hit. We lost natural gas fed generation when they could not control the valves because they were frozen. We are down something to the tune of 34,000 megawatts of generation capability. All 4 nuclear generation facilities are operating at Max performance but that is not without problems either as the valves which allow cooling water in or out aren’t designed to operate at these temperatures either.
There is a branch of our Public Utilities Commission that is supposed to take care of this but it seems they haven’t actually done very much. I bet some of them get replaced.

Those croc-plows should work ok to clear, but I suspect the salt will out perform the pepper by about 4-1.
