I took Mrs. Tonebender to one of her favorite places, the Upper Deck. She had the crab cakes and I had chicken wings.

So a little while ago I texted my boss to let him know I would be working from home tomorrow. He said he was too because tomorrow is a paid holiday. That's like finding a $20 in your coat pocket. After the stump grinding man is gone tomorrow I will be free to play 9 weather permitting. Does getting paid while playing golf make me a professional golfer?

About as much as my wife paying me $20 to put the guitar down and step away from the amp. 🤣

But hey, it makes you happy AND you're getting paid. Who cares what it's called!?

Evening gents! Just watched "Irresistible", a movie on Amazon Prime. Well worth checking out. It has some plot twists that I never saw coming.

I am two very nice delmonico steaks and baked potatoes on the grill last night. Champagne and wine and chocolate covered strawberries were also consumed. So yesterday was technically put valentines day. I am making chicken with root vegetable hash now.

Chuck....never did like that busch boy..... actually neither of them. But that was typical of what happens at Daytona and Talledaga. I can't blame those who fall to the rear for the first quarter of the race. Just trying to stay outta that crap. I was a die hard NASCAR fan from the 70's until about 3 years ago. Had tickets for MIS for probably 20-25 years. But all the changes they made and all the new drivers, I quickly lost interest. Last race I went to was with my son (who was my race buddy for past 15 years) and his son. That was neat to have three generations there. I started watching today until they covered the cars.... I couldn't keep up with the new drivers!!
15° right now, snow tonight and tomorrow. Predicting 4-8" but they never know. We are supposedly on the northern edge of the southern storm. Hopefully it will be light an fluffy. I took leaf blower out and cleared drive and sidewalks with it!!! It was cold enough the snow was light and could blow it out.

Five degrees but the snow has, for the moment, stopped.
