Good morning Woods. Weather forecast for here is rain, freezing rain and/or snow not necessarily in that order. Temp is above freezing now supposed to cool off later today. We probably won’t have a 100 car pile up, people just abandon there cars where they get stuck. Tow companies make a fortune.
Everyone stay safe.

Mick, my sister lives on a ranch in the Middle Of Nowhere OK and she is saying the weather is awful right now. I think she is near Roosevelt.

Just got back from a nice ride and some Mexican food at Alejandro's. I have had my FXR for 35 years and it still makes me smile when I lay into a curve. No Harley big twin handles better than the FXR IMHO. Of course I have not ridden them all but I have ridden a considerable representation including the latest offerings.

It is brutal here, Jeff. We aren't used to this kind of stuff. What Triumph model does your bride want? The Speedmaster is a great looking model.

Roosevelt is in SW Oklahoma near the Wichita Mountains. Some very nice riding down that way if ya ever get the chance.

I spent a winter in Tulsa many decades ago, driving conditions were horrible because it didn't get that cold, had multiple ice storms with barely freezing weather. After work one day my Oldmobile had the frame sitting on the rear axle from the ice weight, took around an hour to dig through the ice to get a door open and get enough off the windshield to see straight ahead. Another hour to drive the 4 or 5 miles home.

That said, snow can be a pita to deal with, and the roads do ice up bad here sometimes because they salt snowy roads, it melts, and then the temp freezes the ice water for the morning commute. Been many times I've wished I'd gone to the land down under when I got out of the army. Kangaroos instead of deer...
