Bob, seems the biggest difference in their offerings are the ability to communicate bike to bike vs. rider to passenger only.

I've gone from badass to fatass. I wonder if they'll let me do basic again without the whole re-enlistment thing

Mornin, John. Watch some videos for exercise. The military experience currently seems to be alien to us that have a gray hair or two.

The Sena will not connect to Infotainment. There is a dongle you can get, but not worth it imo. I just used my phone for tunes. Makes it much easier although skipping through music isn't easy.

Yeah, I don't know all that much about the differences. I know some have upgraded speakers. Some can be bike to bike. All are expensive.

Yeah Mick, from what I've seen I wouldn't do well in today's military. Anytime I watch exercise videos I end up with doritos dust on my shirt

This will be a convenience more for Sherri. If I can't ride side by side with Al and listen to Boxcar Willie anything else pales.

Just found out that the guy we are hiring for project management will be getting 20-30% more than me. It would be bad enough at face value, but I actually brought the guy into the industry as an employee of my company, trained him, and then when I dissolved the company to take the position I have now, basically got him the job he has now for one of my customers. That customer I also trained back in the day btw, and went on to start his own business.

The root cause of the issue is that the company I worked for was acquired 3 years ago. They have a different pay scale for project managers, but they seem unwilling to bring the carry-overs up to that scale. We've hired a few more mangers and I suspect they make more than I do. There's one other carry-over manager and I assume he and I are in the same boat.

Anyway, I recommended this guy to my boss, whom I have known for a long time also. In fact he got me involved in this industry. It's an industry where everyone knows everyone. There's a lot more to the story that I won't go into right now but suffice it to say I will be super unhappy if a new hire, a guy I trained, and I guy I will have to train again, makes more $$ than me doing the same job. It hasn't escaped my bosses attention that I have tons more experience than the new hire and the pay imbalance is total BS. He's trying to get it fixed, but I have little faith that I'll get a desirable outcome. My boss is a good friend and I know he's unhappy about the situation and trying his best but damn........this will not sit well.

That really sucks, Bob. Hope they make it equitable. How did you come by the pay disparity info?

Bob, I don't know much about the civilian work force. Are you hoping to get a raise, or this guy get your pay? Seems to me pretty stupid to bring a new guy in making more than the guy that's been there doing the job. I'd be pissed, no doubt.

I had the Sena 10 then got the 20 . All the Geritol Brigade have switched over to the new Sena 50 (?). They love them. Pretty sure they stopped using CBs. I haven't ridden with them in 2 years, though. I never had a problem with the Sena. I had adapters where I could use phone, talk on a portable CB, listen to music and bike to bike coms and never had an issue. When I get back to riding with them, I'll get another Sena
