Good morning Bob and Russ!

I'm feeling like the Mustang sest sits me a tad higher and a little further back. The bars feel a couple inches too low now. That's why I ask.

I think they are perfect. Obviously everyone is different. But I see higher bars as an unnatural position to be in for a long ride. I have ridden bikes with apes, and I will say, nowhere near as uncomfortable as I thought they would be.

If nothing else I wouldn't hand my hands up over the "wings" and in the wind. I have other bikes for that. The bagger is all about comfort and protection.

Halito y'all.... I'd still be sleeping if it weren't for Jeffs radio blaring Thunderstruck up here!!! Dang man, turn that volume down a tad would ya??!!
Cold here this morning.... 5° right now. Won't get much better for next couple days. But it's Michigan, so..... No plans for the day. May watch a little bit of football, but nothing I'm interested in. Not much in pro sports any more....too many elitist, better than me type of players these days. They figure we, the fans (ex-fans!!) owe them everything. Gone are the days when they were humble and appreciated the fans. And the costs.....
Anyhow morning y'all ..... hope you all have a great day. Just watch for the crazies out there....

Exactly why I don't want apes. Looking at them, 10 is as high as one can go and stay behind the fairing. Nothing higher is acceptable. I'll try rocking the bars back a "smidgeon" and see where I'm at with them. I'm just taking rides and feeling what my body is wanting. The Mustang sest is great though. It wasn't a thought as I was riding. Thats perfect lol.

I don’t like my hands up that high either, you miss the protection the fairing gives you. To me, it feels like the bike is less controllable in that position which may be related to years of riding motocross and go-fast bikes. What is funny for me though is to ride the Ultra then the King. The beach bars on the King sure feel low!

How quickly we forget, Russ. I don't recall your RK having beach bars

I'll see if I can get a pic later to demonstrate how I'm sitting. Heck, might even give myself some insight lol.
