I have to give Chuck some credit here. Sometimes the right words at the right time create change. He basically said my winter situation is one of my own doing, and he's right. I can bitch about it or I can change it. And I am very fortunate to have a job where I can live anywhere. In fact the SE is my busiest area. If anything it will strengthen my position to be there.

Fact is, Cheryl and I have been talking about this for years. Now it's becoming a plan. Cheryl is handling all the financial aspects of it. She's very good with numbers. She said that it's very doable, possibly by next Fall. We have a few things to finish on this house, but I think I can knock that out between now and then.

Yes, you definitely should visit Tennessee Chris. I'll be living in North Carolina though.

Just bustin yer *****. You will be welcome at the new digs. The plan is to buy a piece of land with a small house. That will be used as temporary living while we build the new house. Then it will be the guest house, which we need. I want a place for family to stay when they visit. That's the hardest part about this. Cheryl and I have most of our family here, including my grand kids. I hate to be away from them, but the truth is, I don't see them all that much.

 

Speaking of Chuck, wonder what the Doc said about his neck pain?

I have found an effective plan is just soak them in water for a little while, like in a bathtub, and they spring right back to life !
Careful though - soak 'em tooooo long and they bloat right up.
