Exactly. But the price of saying anything just isn't worth it. I don't get the results I want and I catch a bunch of crap for saying it. Sounds out of character for someone who gave the domain/STFU speech. But provoking a woman by chastising her only child rarely goes well. I'm playing the long game where I get everything I want by just keeping my mouth shut for a little while longer. And then she can have the "We're moving...." talk with the kid. And I'll make very sure to buy a small house that he won't want to be at.

I love Texas and would move there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately Cheryl isn't a fan (I have no idea why). I could still leverage a move there, but I'm pretty sure my retirement budget wouldn't allow it anyway. I want to spend about $300K on hopefully 5 or so acres and a modest house. We'll live in that house while I build another one and the original house will be for guests. I also want a massive pole barn for my stuff. Hell.....maybe I'll just build a massive pole barn and park a Class A in it and call it done.

She obviously hasn’t spent enough time here. I’m certain by the end of WS’21 she’ll realize that the “inbred, redneck, Bible toting, gun clutching” BS she’s been fed is not true. I don’t even know where my Bible is and Chris doesn’t count because he’s from Riverside, CA.
You could build a nice home, pool and awesome Annex for 450K. Golf carts are extra.
