Was just out eating at the Argentinan restaurant across the street from the hotel, they make a VERY GOOD steak and it is convenient.

If when I dropped it, it landed on a Croc, it wouldn't have broken.

Evening Russ, Chris, Greg, Bob, Mick, Chuck. Rained all day which cuts into my outdoor walking as I’m not a 100% on my feet. Did laps around the house and garage instead.

Good evening all. I got my Verizon cell phone bill and it had gone up. Trying to figure out what you pay is like catching a fart. In October the phone was paid off so it went down. Then I cancelled some kind of protection In November and it went down in December but suddenly it went up. So I called to see what was going on. Took forever to get "Dan" on the phone probably because the call had to go all the way to the other side of the world where "Dan" lives. Bottom line I tell Dan my cell phone bill is too high and not even close to being competitive with other carriers/providers. So he offers to lower it to $80 a month. I tell him that is not acceptable and I will be paying this bill and switching services. Suddenly he finds another plan for 55 and over folks called the Loyalty Plus plan for $50 a month. My employer gives me a stipend of $60 a month anything $60 and under is okay with me. Many years ago it started at $60 with Verizon for the cell phone then I added a MiFi device for the farm so we could have internet. Later I added another device so I could leave one at home when I traveled and take one for the road. Over the years the bill was always changing, new plan, new phone, updated MiFi modules, etc. I started eliminating the MiFi devices since we have WiFi through the cable provider now at the new home and Verizon kept finding a way to keep the bill the same. Funny how that works. The phone companies and the cable companies are such a rip off. They reward a new customer with a deal and screw the loyal customers. With the phones you can shop around but with cable there is only one choice. Rant over.
