Jeff, taking Russ' advice, I had already ordered the LRS and ordered that over the phone. I'm just trying to keep options open, I'm used to things not going to plan. I appreciate you taking the time and keeping me posted. Worst case I may go that route with them. But if the bagger goes through, I won't need to outfit the Springer for 700 miles days and will use it for the shorter sub 200 days instead.

Ride safe, Jeff and do not buy a bed that is still comfortable after 3 nights.

We want to set it up like a den but with the ability to sleep a couple folks if the need ever arises. Family pictures, easy chair, and a TV. Everyone ride safe.

BTW @Chris I looked for the purchase email for the windshield but I did not have one. I think I remember actually making the purchase over the phone because we had to confirm bolt pattern on the Harley hardware. I was hoping to send you the part no. I am sure they can hook you up at Clearview though.
Morning Jeff. Might I suggest one of the more versatile pieces of furniture ever created? This thing is a couch and a bed all rolled into one. You could save a few bucks too but the real beauty is that no one will over stay their welcome if you offer them this jewel to sleep on.

Haha, is that what you've got in store for my visit Russ?

As always, gleaming fantastic advice. Get an uncomfortable bed for guests.

Believe me Chris, you can spend so much time humping a pack that even a parking garage floor in Washington DC is comfortable.

LOL, I have even a more radical approach, the only person allowed to spend the night at my house for the last 25 years is my sister. She was set up in the mancave building with an inflatable mattress. I did not even have a spare bedroom at the farm house. She has not visited since we moved. We have a spare bedroom at the new home but still want it to be more of a den/office/guitar room.

Chris, glad to hear you are keeping the Springer. A man needs more than one motorcycle.

Lol those cots afforded me many a great sleep. But I'm happy now with our king size super fancy hybrid memory foam mattress and low to the floor bed frame I made so I can sit on the edge and get my boots on.

But yeah, the good ol days...
