Chuck, his name is Jay. Retired from the local school district as head of buildings and grounds. Seems cool...in the garage he has a brand new 2020 CVO Limited as well. The Deuce is an '01. Sadly, his wife and grown son both died within 18 months of one another. The wife last year and the son in '19. That cannot be an easy burden.

 

At least you have one decent neighbor! Is there a lot of rentals in your area or did this person buy the home?

Speaking of YELLOW.....that one pic that Moldie posted had a yellow bagger in it. I thought " Somebody's been holding out on me"... Then, I finally figured out that he was screwin' with the colors and it was your bike. For the record...I think that it's too much yellow on a bagger and I'm not crazy about it. Your color looks much better

 

Russ, he is a friend of the son of the owner. She is my widow lady neighbor that is great but she began to slip mentally so they have her in a senior living center. He is in the house on what the son told me as a temporary measure until they decide what to do with it. Jay told me he sold the home he built in Paris, TX and so the timing, for him, is great.

Very few rentals in my neighborhood. I don't there is one within 6 or 8 blocks of me. When I do see ads for rental property in here the rate is around $2500 so I suppose that keeps all but the highest earning riff raff at bay.

 

I am recharging my batteries....it is tough enough being called a douche by someone that is supposed to like me.

 

That would be tough to take in any case, let alone right on the heels of one another. Maybe an occasional riding partner would help him get his mind off that for awhile..
