It's less illegal than corpses (Mick is into that) and they still don't squirm away. It's really a win win.
As far as the heat, you're not kidding. Anything over 100 is miserable. I rode to Temple a few months back and it was 106*. I thought I was going to die.

for the most part I was in the tail end of it....roads were mostly wet...some covered but 90% were just wet....didn't stop the accidents thou drove by at least 4....2 jack knifes and 2 whatevers...
