TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Mick.... I'm telling ya most of the Ag stuff I tended to involved pitch forks, spreader and tractor, huge piles of manure, and a hot afternoon!!! Or a hot afternoon, field full of square bales of hay, a wagon, and the threat of rain later in the day. Always seemed to be a mad dash to get the hay put up before the rain came and got it all wet!! Wifey never tended to that kind of stuff! Wonder if Softie tends to that kind of stuff!!
We got our hay in about 2 months ago and need rain bad. Its about 4" high right now. 6 weeks without rain almost killed the crop. We support all of the confined animal units and crop production. We also throw a lot of events (pre Covid).
Sorry to hear that Mick. I feel your pain.....Welcome to my world. Maybe we should start a club. Mick, my advice is to take a nap. ........Good idea...I think I will.
Well, back to it.
Once the training was over, my VPN pooped the bed. Just got it fixed.
Chris, you should be able to go to your closest dealership and they might have different heights you can try before you buy.. find what you like and buy elsewhere cheaper.

Only 5000 students on campus but our county just opened up because the election is over. I bet next semester we will allow everybody back.
I have to meet the moron that would pay $130 for the udder hat. Bob, if you bought it disregard what I just posted.

Impressive Lou! Wifey just worked in the central office. Yeah, the weather this year has been crappy and different. Back when I was "helping" my dad, we never seemed to worry about that. And it always seemed to rain on the last day or two of picking up and storing the hay!! Always had that last wagon load that was the one rained on!! There is a large farm operation on campus, so I suspect they handle all the animal requirements. I know they have great ice cream!!! Kudos to you for working with the kids...if you do have some in your shop. I find that most have a direction and mission in life other than sucking on mommy and daddy's teat.
