I went in too hot on a decreasing radius turn on highway 7 north of Hot Springs, Arkansas many years ago, outside drop off had the tops of trees next to the road, I was determined not to go off that. Before I got out of the curve I was on the front tire, something underneath, and the left handlebar, ground an angle on the end of it. I still don't know how in hell I got the back tire back down and up on two wheels again, don't know how fast when I recovered but was still running in high gear. Would've thought when the back wheel came up the bike would've just slid straight, but it continued the curve. One of those times when you wonder if someone you can't see was lending a hand. I've had a bike down on pavement at least 3 times without getting off, never got road rash. Feels really strange sitting on the side of a bike slowly turning circles while leaving a trail of sparks.
