hahahaa...been a lot of water under the bridge since those days, Bill. I was a real disco dandy...which is where I met the mother. I was in East Orange, NJ and met her in a disco called Annies. She was with her hot British girlfriend on vacation, I was there on biz. Found out she lived in Bakersfield, I lived in Marina Del Ray, CA. Back then a flight on PSA, the precursor to Southwest, had flights for 12 bucks each way.

They were vacationing in NYC. East Orange is across the river. Apparently that disco had quite the reputation. I do remember it was in a building that looked like an old church and the entire dance floor lit up just like Saturday Night Live. In those days my open front shirt with 'Your Place or Mine' shaved into my chest hair caused quite a stir among the ladies.

Yep.... she killed the tater. Never did like that car, but not how I wanted to get rid of it

Thursday morning around 0730. She says she hydroplaned... I suspect she fell asleep behind the wheel
