Halito y'all. I see most of ya's up and at 'em already. As usual I'm late Oh well.... I can get caught up. I do read the POD, but more to see who gets banned and slammed than to add to anything. I gather a bit of info there, but not much. I will be glad when cabin fever season is over...what ever year that may be. I can't wait to get out of this lock down. Y'all be careful out there..... Lurker out!! .

 

Lurker lurking. In spite of being unseasonably warm this year, as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow, it's still a frozen north today. The POD... probably a good thing you have to be a member to see what's said there. Not public friendly.

Doc, I was wondering if you still get together with the crew at Burger King these days ?. or has Covid put an end to that routine.

 

My attempt at oatmeal cookies yesterday is edible. I thought the recipe used way more sugar than necessary, but now have to consider someone knew what they were doing, my cookies just hint at sweetness. I've cut the sugar content in half on other things, but half is a bit too much, next batch gets another quarter cup. If two dozen cookies really need a cup and a half of sugar, perhaps I should consider another snack. Oatmeal cookies sounds somewhat healthy, but with more sugar than I'd put in my food in a month, perhaps I should explore a different kind of unnecessary calories. I wonder how much sugar bearclaws need...

Meanwhile, my tummy tells me I'm not making it to noon today without a fill up. Oatmeal with strawberry and banana slices, no sugar, is beckoning. And another cuppa, seem to want nearly twice as much of that stuff as I do in summer. Without butter or oil, tried that, doesn't work for me.
