Wait a second Mick........When Jack @LoneBone invited me to this dump/hallowed halls of wisdom, I had to provide him with a bottle of whiskey, some blow, and two dark haired hookers. Why does this guy get in so easily??

Just because Jack can spot a pigeon from a mile away don't make others suffer.

The continuing covid saga... Audrey (most of you should know she's my daughter by now) just gave me the latest. She is recovering ok so far, toddler boy is early with it, not bad so far, husband and my 4 year old granddaughter tested positive today with no symptoms, and the oldest boy, 11, tested negative. The other grandpa gets tested tomorrow. I wonder if I got lucky and the other day when I woke up real early with a heavy feeling in my chest and unusually tired for morning was it and all I got; it only lasted a few hours. Last February, when the whole family group and Carol got sick all at the same time, has most of the family (not me) convinced it was covid, and I'll admit the symptoms fit, although nobody lost smell or taste then, Audrey has now. Her husband was the only one that really got hit hard then, bedridden about two weeks. The girl had the longest duration cough then; I suppose it's possible they don't have symptoms now because they got hit with it pretty good last year and still have good anti-bodies. Stuff we'll never really know. This crap spreads like wildfire, good thing most folks don't have much if any problem with it, but it's still a pita to have around. I'll feel very relieved if the family gets through this with nothing worse than we've had so far. Should be in the clear in another week, two at most. Several people I know have had it now, two got hospitalized, one was in icu for a while, but none of them died. Hope it stays that way, don't need something else taking people away, been enough from other causes.

Thanks Russ and Mick. Carol may be pissed when she finds out, but she's not getting any exposure to the rest of us, so I decided not to add to her concerns, she's worried about covid enough as it is. She does have some medical issues to be concerned about, and I'll admit we're not getting any younger. She's so attached to my granddaughter I think she'd be really upset if she knew the girl tested positive.
