Why does nagging work so well? I don't even like nagging.

 

She really does't nag much but when she does, I just remind her that I hate it and if she continues , It'll never get done. Years ago, she wanted me to repaint one bathroom. When I'm in the mood, I really enjoy painting...IF I'm in the mood. This went on for weeks and I told her " When I'm in the mood". One day, she comes home with paint . She says " I bought the paint and put it in front of the bathroom for when you get in the mood". Paint sat in the hallway for over a year.

Was a balmy 26*F this morning when i got up.

 

As you can see , Sherri likes that type of stuff....

 

My ex liked that kind of stuff, too. Never even crossed my mind until now, but there's nothing like that in the house now. Guess I didn't miss them.

 

Morning all and happy Christmas Eve. 28* and dryer than a popcorn fart here. Gotta put some more wood on the fire. Coffee is ready.

 

My Paula (not to get confused with Al’s Paula) learned many years ago not to nag me and I too have to be in the right mind frame to do it. I’d rather enjoy doing something and doing a great job than not and doing it twice.

Or maybe that’s me making excuses for being lazy but sounds good overall.

Tim, great excuse. When you get older and have hearing difficulties, you can just say " Oh, I didn't hear you"

 

Back from -7* dog walk. It is "Brisk" out there, as one way to describe it. Getting ready for the rush of adult kids and Gkids later this afternoon. Turkey on the pellet grill ........
