They make sure that the concern has proper amounts of coverage for the risks they are exposed to. Environmental, Directors and Officers liability, sexual harassment, etc., Property and casualty.

That sounds more like a “Beat your head against a wall” job. I can’t imagine the red tape/politics that could be involved.

Exactly! She says she's a "Risk Manager" not a "Risk Taker" as the reason she doesn't ride.
Some of the things she's had to deal with have been pretty interesting. Like crop dusters.
