Several years ago we had a year when the neighborhood was just infested with squirrels. Nothing rubber or plastic was safe, and they chewed holes through shed doors to wreak havoc inside. You didn't dare leave a car window down, a garage door down, or a motorcycle left outside unattended (they love foam padding). Another neighbor and I had enough; we unleashed squirrel Armageddon on them, traps (that provided plenty of meals for the nocturnal creatures that did like squirrels, though they often left the tails) and a few other things that were a bit messier. My shed became a death trap and at times was a bit unpleasant, odor wise. For months there was a squirrel migration to the newly opened territories and the body count sky rocketed. But with cheers from the less lethal equipped neighbors, my fellow squirrel hating neighbor and I finally managed to decimate the neighborhood squirrel population to the point word must have spread among the squirrel community that there were much safer places to annoy the two legged creatures, and for several years now, I can go days without seeing a squirrel in the yard and the patch on the shed door hasn't been touched.

Hey all! Been not around a while. Been busy and not here. Took the last three days to catch up.
Stan, thanks for asking. The pain is down to about 4 from constant 7 plus, so that is good. I am also taking the Meloxicam again, I had to stop 5 days prior to steroid injection. I think the Meloxicam is great. I did express my concern to my Doc about it being something I would have to take long term....we will see I suppose.
Evening gents!
Nice time socializing at the bonfire today. It's good to get out for a little bit anyway.

Coming down with something. A little achy, 99.3 temp and slight chills. Fingers crossed it's only a bug. A co-worker announced he had the same thing this past Tuesday after we had sat across from each other for about 3 hours in the conference room. I told him to go home and he did. I spoke to him today and he hasn't gotten worse. I can still taste, smell and appetite is in tact. I am preparing a pot of chicken chili.
Nice. Wanted burgers tonight but Lesley wanted pizza. So she called and I will pick up soon. The weather that good to be able to golf?
Good. All this flaky white stuff sucks. Working from home from mid November, so that is a plus I guess. No having to get on bad roads. All I do is walk into my office and watch the neighbors go up the hill spinning...
Hey Jeff. Long time no see. Well for me of course...
Not good. I would take get some chicken soup, but I like the whiskey one better.
