Al,
Our Pittsburgh facility just closed due to inclement weather ....... you're out of luck today for your industrial hydraulic needs.
Carry on

Here, walking to the mailbox at 31 with a light jacket and a wool cap is comfortable. At 31 on the lower side of zero, it's full gear, even goggles for my eyes. My mailbox is two houses away, exposed skin gets painful walking that far away south of -20. Actually, no kidding, if you fell on the ice and couldn't get up at that temperature on a dead end street, you could die before someone noticed you if you had insufficient clothing on. A cell phone stops working pretty fast exposed to that temperature, you have to keep it under the heavy clothes to have a chance of a quick 911 call. I've pulled the phone out of a coat pocket a few times and it had to warm up to work. I hate that kind of cold, a real pita to deal with for even simple things, and every year up here people lose fingers and toes, and some die because they were careless. Fortunately that kind of cold is rare, only a few days a year if at all, although not long ago we had a week of -20's with some -30's; that's just brutal and downright dangerous. A few years ago a toddler went outside at night in her sleep clothes, when the parents looked for her the next morning she was frozen solid by the back door.

Speaking of cold, this gets a little nipply in about 30 seconds. I'd pick the brunette in this pair. Pairs...

What is this bonus thing you are speaking of? When I worked, the only bonus we ever received was the thank you from the corp execs for their new car or yacht or whatever nice expensive play toy they got. But I guess that's what happens when you work for multi-million dollar corporations, eh?? My biggest bonus was the fact they allowed us to work another year. I wish I was flush enough to offer a nice six figure amount for the duesh..... but alas, being retired and un-bonused, I can't quite stretch it. Good luck to someone!!
