Bob, I wish that happens here. Between both houses, I have a lot of snow removal to do. Last time, we had a storm like this, i would do one driveway, turnaround and sidewalk. By the time, i got done with the second one, it was time to redo the first one. That was a long day. Don't believe that I'm up fo that this year.
Al, maybe take a season off snow removal. Any chance of any undocumented Norwegians near you ?

Al, I am sure others have told ya this but......anytime you are under general anesthesia it takes your body longer to recover than you think.

Mick, I was given only a very light sedative for the procedure. I was awake the entire time.

Mick, are you requiring the injections to relieve on going pain after the surgery?. Is that normal even with a successful procedure?.

I had 2 injections prior to the surgery, the Doc thinking they might give me permanent relief. They did not, hence the surgicial procedure.

The problem is, in my opinion, I don't feel I am making the physical progress I anticipated seeing as it has been 6 months. The 2 rounds of PT subsequent to the surgery, again in my opinion, hurt more than they helped and I finally told the therapist and the Doc....no more, something ain't right.

This shot, once again, is designed to 'calm down' the nerve endings that are causing the pain. The Doc mentioned the term 'nerve ablation' and I said....lemme give that some thought.

I knew going in he said this was a 9-12 month recovery but by now I think I should be further ahead than I am. The difference is he has the medical degree, I do not.

...or getting there. it's interesting that the only restriction that I was given on discharge was not to lift anything heavier than 5 lbs for a week or so. The concern was opening up the artery in my wrist where they put the catheter in. With all the tests that were done on my heart, they only found that one blockage. My heart is probably in better condition that it's been in years.

That is exactly what I told the therapist and the Doc, Al.
