TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Re-Afternoon, Woods....inadvertently gave myself a test of my now fully functioning heart. I've been hurting the past few months, especially in breathing. I'd go up 5 or 6 stops and have to stop gasping for air. Went upstairs to the second floor and got to the top and realized that i just went up 16 steps like nothing and wasn't even breathing hard. I'll take that for one day post op!...

Wife spent the day running around the kitchen cooking. I made two special deliveries of requested dishes to the kids houses. On last delivery run came home to a wife still getting things around....for me. Had a plate of turkey, ham, mashed taters, dressing, green bean cassarole, and a piece of cheese cake for dessert. What a woman. I told the kids to make sure they tell her several times over the next few days how much they appreciated what she did for them.
I hope that y'all had a good day considering. Then I hear a story like Mike's, and hope and pray those protecting us...US troops, policemen, firemen, EMT's, and the folks at the hospitals.... had a chance to be thanked. And hopefully a T-Day meal with a loved one. Thank you all for your service.

Cool, looks great, just pulling your leg. I think I have defeated my OCD by out living it. Everything on my desk had to be at right angles, etc. My co-workers would come by my desk and slightly move things to random angles to drive me crazy. One day, like magic, I just quit caring. Happy Thanksgiving!

G'Evening, Woods.....Thanks for the well wishes.I'm happy with the results already. I had a younger really cool surgeon. First time he introduced himself, he says .." I'm DR. XXXXXX, but just call me Nick. Thoroughly explained all the possible problems and solutions for each. After the procedure, he says " it was totally blocked but I was able to get it all out and a stent placed....you're good now. I'm sitting on the table and see all the monitors and say " Show me the films"...he smiles and ' yeahhhh, sure" he seemed happy that I asked. First ones show the artery going halfway through the section. "This is where it was blocked"...next set shows blood flow through the whole area.
