Back from golf, shot a 42 or +7 on the back nine. That matches my best since starting to play again after the 13 year hiatus. I did not get a 6 and that has never happened that I recall. I try not to get any 7's and two of those. But I parred 4 holes and bogeyed the rest. I hit 3 fairways and hit the green on all three par 3's. A coupe other holes I was just off the fairway in the first cut. I still made a few bad putts. It's always something. Now it is time to pick up some final supplies for tomorrow and eat lunch at my favorite Mexican joint. Everyone ride safe.

Re good morning. Had a great jits session. Nailed an arm bar from mount and got a triangle on this college kid whose an athletic 280 pounds. He's only been training for 3 months and is a beast to deal with. No jits tomorrow but now we have Friday morning classes. Now I can get my fix 5 days a week and up my chances of another broken nose or black eye.

Lou, I stand in awe of your willingness to invite pain and threshold for enduring same. Most days I take my time descending a stairway !

Haha Stan, great way to put it.

I used to be a gym rat. Spent every day doing an hour or better. But over the years I've gotten lazy and now I'm 6ft 210lbs, when I should be 180 or 190. I'd like to lose 20 but have a hard time finding motivation outside of doing yard work. Which reminds me; my trees are dried out enough to cut and stack and will likely do that and clean and organize the shop this weekend.

Oh yay... For now though, back to shuffle. My quick break is over.

Do some jujitsu Chris. Great for your line of work and probably the best effort to reward ratio I've ever seen. 2 months and you will drop 20 pounds. Imo all law enforcement should have at least 6 months of jits.
