Rick, I'm not stupid enough to think I'm irreplaceable, but with my licenses, training and experience, I can work at any agency in this country if they're hiring. Problem is being a cop isn't a guaranteed job anymore.

yep, the politics of county and state agencies can be real PITA to the workforce. Seen it first hand when the new political hacks start showing up and have ZERO knowledge of the work, workforce and clientele. Some dont even hide their kneepads.

Working in law enforcement is a dead end job for someone of your gender and complexion Chris. And it's only getting worse. You are definitely young enough to make a career change. The healthcare industry is booming. The average annual income for a nurse anesthetist is over $180,000. Registered Nurse - over $80K.
I know a number of fairly tough guys who have decided to change careers at your age and still help people in a somewhat safer, better paying environment.
Should we assume you’re interviewing at FWPD tomorrow?
Frig! I was going to text you. Thanks for reminding me. The lab im submitting to isn't taking the goods tomorrow, so I won't be there until Monday, possibly Tuesday. I'd rather do Tuesday, Mondays are hell for me and missing that sounds good in theory, but it means more work the following day.
