Russ, my condolences regarding Kristi's wrist as well. Thankfully she can still hold the Sangria .....right? Kills the pain.

Chris, your question got me wondering, so I did some research. A "widow maker" has a mortality rate of 62%. Cardiac catheterization has a mortality rate of .10%....

Al, checked out the Horizon treadmills today and that T101 is too short for me, at 3 mph the back half of my foot is past the rear roller. I tried the 7.0AT, $350 more, 5" longer, over 70 lb heavier, and it felt almost perfect from the first step. The 101 made me feel clumsy until I got adjusted to it. I may have a longer stride than you, I'm 6'3". No way I'd get the 101, the 7.0 is well worth the extra money in my opinion. Yours still in the box?

Put 3/10 mile on the bigger one, don't want anything else now, more comfortable, hand holds, everything fit me better. But...2 months lead time. Guy at the store said treadmills are sold out all over, they didn't have a single brand in stock, first time I looked at the Horizon website it said a month or more lead time, too, now it doesn't say how long it will be. Wouldn't be surprised if the store would get it before an internet order. Plus, I don't like the idea of something that expensive laying out in the snow if I don't see it's been delivered real quick. Store is same price. Think I'll get it. If it had been in stock, I would have taken it home with me.
