Greg, I look at other peoples issues and forget my own, they don't seem so significant at times. I have told my kids, when you think your problems are bad, look at someone else's!

Mum took care of us from birth and a good part of our lives and now I have to take care of her!

Had the same surgery in 2011, fused C4 and C5, went thru my throat in front. I woke up in recovery pain free. My neck had hurt for years. My throat was a little sore, but that went away in a few days. That surgery was virtually pain free, a whole hell of a lot different than this damn back surgery. It's been tough! Think I'm on the good side of recovering tho, today was a good day...

That's what has helped me from spiraling into a deep dark place. My stroke could have been worse, physically and I could have had less people that cared about me to help me through it. Overall, I think I have come through it pretty well so far

Bosslady had a microdiscectomy about 16 years ago. She got immediate relief. I hear it's still a 50/50 proposition,
