In the other thread you just posted you are being motivated to quit. Make up your mind.

Evenin Woods, spent the whole day convalescing today. I been experiencing an extremely sore throat and some congestion. I figured it was the beginning of a more serious condition. I have good news to report though, I may have stumbled on to a miracle cure !. Hot tea with a shot of brandy and a teaspoon of honey. I’m on my third cup over the course of the day and I think I’m nearly healed.

Not a good feeling, Jose. You're not alone, rest assured. We can use all the clichés...the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, you eat an elephant one bite at a time, fat girls need love, too....uh, hang on....you're the only one who knows when you're ready to change. Don't be so hard on yourself....what you feel right now doesn't define you. You have years ahead of you to become a total screw up.

Sounds yummy. For a real bad sore throat we do a V8 based hot drink with extreme hot sauce and as much garlic as you can stand. The capsaicin in the hot sauce sooths the throat. A slightly soar throat we do the honey, whiskey and lemon tea.
Hope you are on the mend.

I don't have a Traeger, Tick, but did find this...overlook the reference to his Labrador that is obviously a German Shephard...

damn. Insulation blanket for my smoker. Traeger wants $150 for one. Could get a couple welding blankets for about $50. Looks like using it in colder weather just takes longer.

You have no idea how much I needed that. I've come this far without any major **** ups. I'm looking forward to making up for it in my golden years.*

No one knows us as well as we do, Jose. When it's time for whatever change is needed it will happen but you are the one who will know. OK, back to the light hearted **** this thread is known for...most major studies tell us that when you begin a thought with the phrase 'Most major studies tell us' it is better received by your intended audience. Off to dinner with my sweetie while you contemplate that one.

Smoked from 18 to 57. Figured that was long enough.
Off for 1.5 years and take a new job in January with significant intensity. Pretty soon I'm out with the boys on cigarette break and buying a pack a day again. $8.80 a pop with MN taxes.
Today was my second day without smokes ...and I will make it with the help of Chantix.
When you're ready ...like Mick says ....... you'll quit. More power to you when that day comes. Chantix made the difference for me.
