TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XII
That stamp is definitely a selling point with me. I'm ordering a set of EBC sintered pads now. I put Lyndalls on the Sporty. They felt great but I also changed the front and rear springs and put heavy SE fork oil at the same time. It was hard to gauge how much of the improvement in braking was from the pads and how much was from the stiffer front end.
These are what I put on last time. Have about ik on them now and I know I am about halfway on all off them. So maybe next year in the summer I will change them. $ 100 for the whole bike isn't bad.
I changed the stock pads out at 28K and they were still good, front and back were worn the same.Put new stockers back in.

With these types of pads on, when I went to a Honda dealership to get it inspected, they complained and said they were low and needed changed to be able to pass. I put them on 3 months before and told them that. They said they wood put a note and say they needed changed asap. I said okay and off I went. The next time I need to go there to get an inspection I will take a pad to show them the depth.
