Lady friend wanted to go to the grocery store today. When I go out with her, she almost always wants to stop at one or four other places once we're on the road. I just told her to pick up some milk while she was out...
Prime... often the lowest price, and it's not just the free shipping, but the gas wasted at traffic lights around here will add at least a buck to every trip in the truck or van, even if it's only 5 or 6 miles each way. I've gone through tanks without getting more than 10 miles from home, and they get about half the mileage they get with around half highway miles. Even at 27-30mpg, the Ural saved a lot of gas the last 3 summers. Then there's the time I hate spending in stores and traffic. I'd actually pay a little more to get stuff from Amazon that at a local store, but don't tell them that.
By the way, if you're looking for stuff on Amazon, don't sign in, save the page you're going to order, close the browser, clean the history and cookies (CC Cleaner works good for that, the browser itself lies and keeps some of it) and then just go to those saved pages and order without opening any other pages. Amazon and many other online stores are going to personalized pricing - if you browse through a lot of the same thing, they figure you really want it and the prices start going up for you. Also, if you order from an Android, you can get higher prices than an iPhone that gets higher prices than a PC. I've noticed changing prices when I browsed, but just saw a news video this week that showed how it works, and evidently it started over 5 years ago.

I don't use Amazon, don't like their bait and switch tactics!
Evening Woodsnitzes. Made some cocktails, been hanging out at the firepit talking to the neighbors and throwing a ball for the dogs. Good times.

Sounds good, Russ. It's good to keep your blowhard skills refined. Tomorrow I think I'll walk out front and be arrogant and pretentious with my neighbors.
Do you think you might flash some cash too?
I can't, I spent all my available money on some stupid Amazon membership. 13 bucks a month is killing me.
