Might do that. Finishing off The Pacific right now.
Lou, the way I posted that might be a little mis-leading. The series is about people of several wars who saved one another, I just happened to be watching the one this evening which was about the Vietnam war.
I'm thinking that the problem is in the switch. If it acts up again, I can drill a small hole in the side and spray it down with electric contact cleaner or cut the bottom off with a Dremel, clean it and epoxy it back together. Or just spend $60 for a new one...
Never spend 60 bucks when you can put about 300 dollars worth of labor utilizing 140 dollars worth of tools into screwing up the probject before you spend 3 bucks for gas to go buy a new one!
If ya get a chance guys, watch the PBS series We'll Meet Again....a series about guys who looked up the men who saved them during the Vietnam War. By the way, grab some tissues.

I told you the story about changing watch batteries, didn't I.....It's usually not about the money with me...it's the personal challenge. This starter pissed me off..if it acts up again...I'll probably buy another one AND fix this one...
