Kid thinks hard drive is shot...won't even go to windows. he did his "techie geek " thing on the black screen typing at the speed of sound...waaaayyyyy beyond my ability.... ....you have any ideas ? I tried calling 1-800-GETMICK , but I got some midget **** studio...

Did you try turning it off then back on? Maybe hit it on the back real hard? Thats the extent of my computer knowledge.

That's why I went with a Mac. You can go both ways with it.
