TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XII
Tell me something I don't know!
Haha...Yep...all set up with 2 monitors, added some programs, even got a 2010 version of Office to install and work. Kid stopped by to move my email program over with all my contacts in it . Pissed off that Windows 10 is not compatible with my QuickBooks windows 7 version. Bastages want $220 for a new program. May just clean out the old computer and just use it for Quickbooks. Ordered an adapter for $20 to do that. My brother/partner said " Just buy the goddamn program, we can afford it"... Told him that's the easy way out and I'm a bullhead!
yeah....I figure that I'll be ordering the Windows10 version by Sunday!.....it will be easier than running two computers to one monitor...but it's the principle of the thing! I'm competing with Mick for "Techie of the month award".....buahahahhhaha
I've always liked Avon tires but I think they may have gone a little overboard on this one.

We take approximately 300 CD's and about 100 DVD's to Half Price Books. They always have a sign that says they will buy them. I figure we get some store credit for something we want.
Groundwork: I want to take it all to the library and donate it, let someone else enjoy it. Spend about half an hour putting it all in a couple of big bags. Oh, no, she says, let's do Half Price Books.
Reader's Digest (nice book reference, huh?)….we drive 20 minutes to Half Price Books, clerks take about 45 minutes to look at all of it....offer me 17 bucks, I **** you not. I yell, WHAT?, Sherri says..We'll take.
Stony silence on the ride home after I say....Geeezzzuussss Christo.....the library is 3 minutes from the house.

In my best spicy meatball voice....That's a no sheet!
Haha....I wish I knew...I would have given you $20 for the CDs and paid shipping and you wouldn't have to drive 20 minutes and waste an hour of your time.
