Found out I'm older and more decrepit than I thought. Took my granddaughter to the top of the gulley out back and let her sled down the side (not real steep). Getting her going, I managed to get on my knees, and it took 3 tries to get back up on my feet, didn't expect the snow to make that so difficult. I was breathing hard when I got to the bottom and it was probably a good thing my daughter showed up when we were about halfway up the hill and carried her kid back to the house, that sled was gaining pounds with every step. Been a while since I slogged through snow that deep, don't remember it being so hard to get through. Only about a foot deep back there, too. Now I'm wondering when my riding endurance is gonna go south.
