Lou, I'm with you. I had a 911SC Targa for 17 years , best car I ever had. Besides my SIL, I have four friends who have new Corvettes. .....dime a dozen, but probably superior to the Porsche.

 

Porsche guy myself. I've had 3 911s. The last was a 92 C2. Just something about them works for me.

As far as "better" - with all the performance these cars put out today you'll only discover "better" at the track. Even a lowly new Mustang GT is doing sub 4 second 0-60 times. Unbelievable performance for a car of that price.

I've lost count of how many vehicles I've had. I was going to put you at the top of my hero list if you had only owned 2 vehicles in your life. I would be a millionaire if I could be reimbursed for all the 4 wheel vehicles I have bought.

Hahaha, forgot my pride and joy. A 1996 ford F-250 Ext Cab Long Box 4x4 with a 460. She's a rusted out old girl that we use for back roading and hunting. Looks like an Indian wagon but damn, is she comfy.
