Fiber to the home is the future of the company. I live and work in an area that isn’t as densely populated as the major metropolitan areas. That is where all the work is now and for the foreseeable future. There are no plans to do a fiber build around here until they have first cabled up all the big cities.

 

I have a new "twitch". When I am in bed and I yawn, my left(bad) hand raises up. I don't even notice it unless I am watching for it. It has been a source of mystery and entertainment for my nurses and visitors

 

ah ha.....I always wondered who it was that took the money outta the pay phones !!! ..

 

Ok. So all the stuff you work is gonna need maintenance until it is replaced, isn't it?

Not exactly. If we get out of the business of (“switched dial tone”) think land lines again, they will just shut it down (decommission it) and if you are not able to be served by cellular, your out of luck. You would be forced to get your service elsewhere ( can you say cable company?).

 

Let’s see if we can keep Markcus up really late. He’ll be so tired he won’t be able to stop yawning and before you know it he’ll be playing the piano!
