Goliad would be an all day deal but it's worth it to see the site and the church where Col. Fannin and 340 of his Texian soldiers were massacred by the Mexican Army. The church is still there in use.

Yep...been there but not recently. Used to race down at the old Green Valley drag strip over in Smithfield.

There are also some active sites of the Confederate....I mean Commemorative Air Force near there with some Mitchell bombers and other planes. Contact them about schedule and viewing

We'll be staying at the Grand Hyatt downtown, just off the Riverwalk. Glo will be busy all day most days and I will be somewhat free during the day. Looking forward to some good Mexican food while I'm there.
