Did you put the phone down, walk outside, grab a drink, a snack, finished said drink and snack and pick up the phone only to realize she's still talking about the same thing?
I put the phone on speaker and slip in a shirt pocket. Once I fell asleep on the phone, and woke up hearing someone calling my name. Just asked what that last bit was, and got away with it.
