Lou, don't know about that Mitsu thing, but my wife had 4 or 5 Mitsubishi Diamantes and never a bit of trouble with any of them. Actually ran one with very little coolant in it for God knows how long and no trouble.

Time to go to G'son's 2nd grade musical thingie.....later

Big waste of money if I don't, already got some of the replacement parts, but I'm holding off the big ticket items till it's about ready to put them on. Cleaning the filthy thing takes more time than wrenching, the wrenching is fairly easy. I've just about convinced myself I need a blast cabinet, wouldn't have to be a big one. Be nice to have one of those like I used at the airline that was big enough you could put a frame in it. Too many zeros on the price tag for one of those. Wire brush and sanding gets old in a hurry, for me anyway.

Those things need more than a gear set. Chinese copy of a Russian copy (as in... Ural!) of an ancient BMW, circa 1936 or so. At least 4 other Chinese companies make the same thing, but I'm not going to try and pronounce or spell their names. The newest models look like old Urals, and from what I've read, are even less reliable. I'm not sure that's possible, but I don't intend to find out. Oh yeah, the 40hp Ural is a powerhouse compared to the Chinese version, have something like 30hp.

But!- you can fit a BMW airhead in one, with a bit of welding and cussing, according to some folks that have done it. The why of such a project eludes me...

Eavning. Wiped out. Very busy day running around. Went through over 300 gallons of diesel in the lube truck.
