Afternoon woods,

At the dealership getting the brake system flush done and a new back tire. Those pesky nails love the tire and wheel replacement warranty.

Eating some wings and enjoying a cold PBR while I wait.

Yes we do Mike! Just down the block is an oyster bar. Out in the middle of nowhere

Moldie, have 20/20 in each eye and a little better with both eyes. No need for 'cheaters" for close up work either. Medicare covers the basic lens and surgery.....the "premium" lenses cost me an additional $5800. But for someone who's had horrendously bad vision for 60 years, it was worth every penny.

Well, perceived disaster averted. I heard a noise last night on the way home from a meeting. a metallic rattle. It would change with the RPMs. Thought it was a heat shield that had come loose. Fired it up this morning and it was horrendous sounding. checked the shields and nothing was loose, so I figured it was in the cam chest. SIGH. Off comes the exhaust and when I set it down, something rattled. It was the DKCustoms Thunder Torque Insert that had come loose and was rattling around. The only thing I didn't put my hands on before I took the exhaust off.
WHEW!!!

Only did about 175 miles today but it was a nice day to ride, stop for lunch, go through the backroads and stop for a cold drink.
