Just looked it up those are pretty cool looking trees. Different.

 

Excellent firewood as well. My boss owns a redwood plot in Santa Cruz and has to clear out the madrone. It burns hot. A good addition to oak. Never actually seen the tree's themselves.

She seems to be a popular model for the bouncing booby gifs. Saw one where she's riding a bicycle au natural. They don't stay up there without something holding them...
