Another disappointment, some of the weather guessers said chance of strong storms last nite, but didn't get a drop. Be nice to give the streets a rinse, look pretty decent but I know there's plenty of fine ground salt blowing around on them.
Thought this was an interesting read, didn't know there's a bunch of WWII tanks just sitting in bogs and mud waiting to be pulled out. Be fun to have an old tank. If I lived some place where I could drive it. I did run across one sunk in dirt to the turret miles from anywhere in Texas once. The top hatch was open and it was filled inside, too. Might have just been the turret, whole body, if there, was underground. Was several miles from Ft Hood, but someone may have wandered off the reservation back in WWII training, was in a dry canyon that probably had water running through it at times, suspect they stuck it and just abandoned it with everything else going on.

Got the bikes out and started them up. My DR650 didnt want to start, but I gave it a little more time and I heard it beginning to fire, then WOOSH the exhaust threw out crackers and smelt like burnt hair.
